Another report states that Apple wants to come with a 9.7 inch, a 10.5 and a 12.9-inch Apple iPads in 2017. The version will become the substitute for the Apple iPad Mini and promise to be the entry-model iPad. The 10.5 inch iPad Pro and the 12.9-inch iPad Pro would be the two premium iPad.
The current Apple iPad Mini 4 is possibly the last iPad with a 7.9-inch display that Apple has released. A report by the usually well-informed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities analyst firm indicates that no new iPad Mini is there on Apple’s roadmap.
In addition to this, Macotakara also released a statement saying, the new is kindof similar to the nano even though it is a whole new design. Some of the models may have 3G connectivity option though not all carriers may offer a 3G version. According to previous talks about the Apple iPad Mini it will have a non-Retina 1024×768 display as used in the v.1 and v.2 iPads.
