The Brinkmann Gourmet Electric Smoker has very good ratings. Overall, the Brinkmann Electric Smoker is rated 4.3 stars out of 5 stars. Very good ratings for a electric smoker that costs around 120. The only reason for not getting 5 stars out of 5 stars is that the smoker’s construction is kind of cheap and the smoker still needs some attention compared to other electric smokers.

My friend and I did a comparison of his Brinkmann charcoal smoker to my Brinkmann propane smoker. The end result turned out almost identical! I totally get the ‘old fashioned bbq’ way of using charcoal, but I find that there’s just not enough hours in the day to labor over the smoker keeping the temperature right, and the clean up after is WAY easier on my propane smoker. Just my personal experience though!
