Both the BLU Studio 5.0 II and the BLU Advance 4.0 work with HSPA+ 4G, so at least the devices won't be falling behind in terms of carrier support. It is perhaps to soon to expect low-powered devices to already be running the more resource-efficient Android 4.4 version as both use an even older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The BLU Studio 5.0 II carries a price tag of $139 while the Advance 4.0 costs $89 and can now be bought unlocked from BLU dealers across the country.
As for the BLU Advance 4.0, it will cost just $89, sporting a similar processor, wireless capabilities, memory and storage as the Studio 5.0, except that it has a smaller TFT display at 4” at 800 x 480 pixel resolution. Both of these smartphones will arrive in either black or white colors, just in case you were wondering.
